At Green Teach Community Farm, our Holiday activities and food program gives children and young people a safe , nurturing space to explore and connect with nature, make friends and enjoy healthy, nutritious meals during the school holidays.
the programme is funded through the Department of Education HAF scheme and supports children who receive benefits related free school meals and other vulnerable young people.
Our session are built around outdoor learning and include,
Nature and woodland activities
campfire cooking
organic growing and harvesting
arts and crofts using natural raw materials
building confidence and well-being
Food and drinks will be provide during the 4 hours.
